The old plant burned down last August and was partially covered by insurance. The new factory was rebuilt at an approximate coat of $6.000 and many new features were added to the me chanical capacity of the factory, which will enable the owner to serve more fully his market source, which, as is the case with most valley fac tories, is in San Francisco. E. G. Opperman, of CoquiUe, did the electrical work of the entire fac tory which was one of the most tech nical and largest electrical Jobs un dertaken in these parts for some time. ■ E«h\ 111 ■■ A business change in Coquille be came effective last Sunday morning when Mrs Bonnie Walker sold a half interest in the Tip Top to Keith Leslie. The deal means a change in manage ment also, as Mrs. Walker wished to retire from active conduct of the business. Mrs. Mary Schooler, a sister of Mrs. Keith Leslie, who has been associated with a cafe in Port land for some time, arrived here from there the past week-end and Monday morning assumed her duties as manager of the Tip Top. This popular confectionery, with one of the best locations in Coquille, has been operated by Mrs. Walker since she moved it echoes the street from the Woodman building several yean ago, and has always enjoyed a splendid patronage.
